Welcome to 2023 EaGenie friends!    Brrr…it’s cold outside here in historic downtown Independence, Iowa but it’s warm inside our shop and we are BUSY!   We have experience unprecedented growth over 2022 and we are so thankful to our customers and our staff for the support. February is heart month, to many that means Valentine’s day and love. To me and others like me it means something different. Awareness. Heart month and CHD week are for awareness. To bring awareness to those around us and to help people to understand what fighting heart disease every day is like. My son is a heart warrior, at 1 day old he was diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) since that day his heart is on my mind every minute of every day.
