18th Century Short Stays - Black and Silver Brocade - Skull Print Lining
Introducing our exquisitely crafted 18th-century short stays, handmade in Independence, Iowa. Inspired by the undergarments of the 18th century and the charming cottage-core style, these stays feature a shortened design that can be worn with a frilly skirt or one of our tea-length chemises to complete your cottage-core look. Each piece is meticulously crafted in a beautiful black and silver brocade.
As always, our short stays are reversible, providing versatile styling options. This is a limited collection using the last of our skull print lining, it was a Joann fabrics exclusive that is no longer available.
The front, back, and straps are all laced with professional-grade grommets, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. For added support, multiple pieces of half-inch wide steel boning are incorporated into the stays.
We have photographed these stays with a coordinating reversible bustle skirt.
For the best fit, your waist should be 4 to 6 inches larger than the listed size.
